Description

ON CERTAIN CLASS C MOTOR HOMES, THE BATTERY CABLE IS ROUTED IN A LOCATION THAT ALLOWS EXPOSURE TO HIGH EXHAUST MANIFOLD TEMPERATURES, WHICH COULD DAMAGE THE CABLES. AN ELECTRICAL SHORT COULD OCCUR, POTENTIALLY RESULTING IN A FIRE.

What you should do

DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE CABLES FOR DAMAGE AND LOCATION WITHIN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. SHOULD DAMAGE BE PRESENT, THE CABLES WILL BE REPLACED. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JULY 29, 2002.
