Description

ON CERTAIN CLASS A, DIESEL PUSHER, MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON FREIGHTLINER CHASSIS, THE WHEEL WELL LINERS BEING INSTALLED ON THE FRONT TIRE WELLS, REQUIRED THE AIR LINE ASSEMBLY ON THE IFS TO BE MOVED TO ALLOW THE ATTACHMENT OF THE LINERS TO THE CHASSIS. DURING THIS PROCESS, IT HAS BEEN FOUND THAT IF THE AIR BAGS ARE COMPLETELY DEFLATED, THE TIRE COULD RUB THE AIR LINE SUPPLYING AIR TO THE BRAKES. THIS COULD CAUSE THE LINE TO FAIL RESULTING IN A LOSS OF BRAKES, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
