Description

ON CERTAIN 60' ARTICULATED TRANSIT BUSES, THE STARTER CABLE AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY GAUGE WIRES HAD INADVERTENTLY BEEN ATTACHED TO THE STARTER STUD DURING THE MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY PROCESS. OVER TIME, THE STARTER SOLENOID COULD CRACK AND A SHORT CIRCUIT MIGHT DEVELOP THAT WOULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE FIRE.
