Description

BFNT IS RECALLING 143 BRIDGESTONE V-STEEL G-TRACTION 24R21 TRUCK TIRES MANUFACTURED DURING THE MONTHS OF MARCH AND OCTOBER 2007. THESE TIRES FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE ENDURANCE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 119, NEW PNEUMATIC TIRES FOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS STANDARD IS TO PROVIDE SAFE OPERATION PERFORMANCE LEVELS OF TIRES USED ON MOTOR VEHICLES WITH A GVWR OF MORE THAN 10,000 POUNDS.
