Description

Cheetah Chassis Corporation (Cheetah) is recalling certain model year 2010-2014 20-40 Maximizer trailers manufactured September 14, 2009, through October 3, 2013. In the affected trailers, the weld joining the locator pin's shaft and collar may fail leading to a separation of the locating pin's shaft and collar. As a result, the vehicle's suspension section may become separated during the repositioning procedure and cause injury to those in close proximity to the vehicle. Additionally, the parts may separate from the vehicle and fall onto the roadway while the vehicle is in operation, which could result in serious injury to other motorists or property damage to other vehicles.
