China Manufacturers Alliance, LLC (CMA) is recalling certain Bluestar LQ225 size 8-14.5 low platform trailer tires manufactured February 24, 2013, to August 9, 2014. The affected tires can develop a sidewall blister on the upper section of the sidewall. This blister may pop while the vehicle is in operation. Thus, these tires fail to conform to the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No. 119, "New Pneumatic Tires for Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars." If the sidewall blister pops, rapid air pressure loss could cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
