Description

Jerr-Dan Corporation (Jerr-Dan) is recalling certain model year 2007-2014 Standard Duty Wreckers manufactured November 1, 2007, through March 3, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the underlift boom tilt cylinder may drift down while a vehicle is being towed. If the underlift boom tilt cylinder drifts down during towing, the vehicle that is being towed may contact the road surface, increasing the risk of the vehicle crash.

What you should do

Jerr-Dan will notify owners and dealers will replace the underlift tilt circuit counterbalance valve, free of charge. The recall began in July 2014. Owners may contact Jerr-Dan customer service at 1-800-926-9666.
