Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain model year 2015 CHU and CXU trucks manufactured from March 31, 2014, through June 26, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the collars that prevent the ball sockets from backing out of the tie rod may have been incorrectly positioned. This may allow the ball sockets to come loose. If the ball sockets come loose from the tie rod, a complete loss of steering may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
