Description

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2015 Eagle 30.5 BHLT fifth wheel trailers manufactured March 13, 2014, to August 1, 2014. The affected trailers have incorrect tire size information on the tire label. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or less." If the trailer tires are replaced with the ones listed incorrectly on the label, the trailer may be overloaded, resulting in poor handling or tire failure. Either of these conditions may increase the risk of a crash.
