Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain model year 2014 Aerial Devices manufactured April 1, 2014, to July 18, 2014, and equipped with certain SUN Hydraulics Corporation counterbalance valves. In the affected vehicles, the counterbalance valve may crack, allowing hydraulic fluid to leak, and possibly result in boom movement. Unintended boom movement of the aerial device increases the operator's risk of injury.
