Corp. Micro Bird Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 G5 school buses manufactured March 25, 2013, to May 1, 2015. In the affected buses, the positive battery feeder stud that is attached to the positive cable in the battery box may prematurely corrode. Additionally, bolts designed to mount the battery box may also be missing. If the feeder stud is corroded, a short circuit may result, increasing the risk of a fire. If the battery box mounting bolts are missing, the battery and box may detach causing damage to other components.
