Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 VAH and VHD trucks manufactured April 1, 2014, to August 14, 2015. The affected vehicles may be equipped with headlights that do not meet the minimum intensity requirements, resulting in insufficient illumination of the roadway. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Headlights that provide insufficient illumination increase the risk of a crash.
