PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain model year 2016 Kenworth W900 trucks manufactured May 19, 2015, to December 21, 2015. The affected vehicles may have a temporary loss of headlights when being switched from low beam to high beam mode. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." A loss of headlights while switching to high beams will reduce the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
