Gillig LLC (Gillig) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Lowfloor diesel-electric hybrid vehicles manufactured March 6, 2012, to June 7, 2016. The affected vehicles are equipped with stop lamp activation that may inadvertently flash the rear brake lights. As such, these vehicles do not comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Assoc. Equipment." Flashing brake lights may cause confusion to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
