Description

Hino Motor Sales U.S.A., Inc. (Hino) is recalling certain 2018 NE8J, NJ8J, and NV8J vehicles. The door hinge bolts on these vehicles may not be sufficiently tightened, possibly allowing the door to open while driving. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components." The loose door hinges can cause the door to operate improperly and possibly open, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
