Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2018-2019 C4045, C4047, C5050, and C7066 Digger Derrick vehicles. Due to an engine computer program error, if the hood switch fails or opens, the remote engine start/stop function becomes disabled. A disabled remote engine start/stop prevents the digger derrick operator from shutting the engine off during hydraulic issues on the digger, increasing the risk of injury.
