DURING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS, LOCAL AREAS OF ENTRAPPED AIR AT THE TIRE TREAD CENTERLINE AND BETWEEN THE TREAD AND THE TOP PLY WERE PRESENT IN SOME TIRES. THIS CONDITION COULD LEAD TO TIRE FAILURE.
