THE KING PIN SEPARATES AS SOON AS THE TRAILER IS APPLIED, ALLOWING THE TRAILER TO SEPARATE FROM THE TOW VEHICLE. IF A TRAILER SEPARATES FROM THE TOWING VEHICLE, A CRASH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.
